Husqvarna
engine. Two stroke, 54mm bore by 50mm stroke =
115cc. Air-cooled (NOT fan-cooled), iron barrel with alloy
head. Kickstart included, which works in a forward arc, and
fits on extended shaft from the clutch case, so we think it might
be for mounting in some scooter, but don't really know - any
suggestions would be welcome. It has clutch and gears, and
a big brass flywheel with complete mag set in good condition
under the cover. Turns over OK and seems in generally sound
condition. Also has speedo cable. The motor has been
donated to IceniCAM, so we're offering
it up for sale at just the nominal sum of £20 in the hope
it might find someone who could have use for it. Can be
posted if required, but would cost a bit since it's rather

P50 circa 1967. In good running order. Recent
bills for a refurbishment and rebuild of £550. The
bike has been in my garage for four months and fired up at the
first attempt. It is currently Taxed until
28 Feb 2011 and has an MoT until
7 Apr 2010. It has had powder coating to the
entire frame in black and the wheels in silver Profesionally
appplied. New parts include: Exhaust down pipe, Coil, Spark
plug, Tyres and tubes, New number plate, New bushes to the front
suspension in addition to the rebuild cost and rebuilt
professionally. £399 (not negotionable) will secure
this machine for her new owner.

sprocket (NOS): 32T dished with 3/8 inch offset, believed
Norman Nippy/Lido to suit Nippy Mk2 (Villiers), Mk3, and

Mobylette AV78,
1958. V5c with original registration number 187 ENK
(non-transferable). Old brass dealer badge riveted to front
mudguard "George Wilks, Radlett. Phone 5772". Plunger rear
suspension, tele forks. Original variator engine
refurbished and completely standard specification except for
conversion to 3-ball clutch for better operation. Runs well
and rides OK, brakes work good - shame about the rest! The
metalwork is still painted in its original 'Bleu Clair' (light
blue) finish - if you can find traces of it beneath the
practically all-covering oxide patina! Though it may appear
the machine might be in danger of crumbling into a pile of dust
at the mere prod of a finger, actually the metalwork is
remarkably solid, it really is just surface rust, which for the
purpose of this advert we will now refer to as 'bags of
character'. The bike is completely original with all the
correct fittings. The mileometer shows only 4,039miles,
though the cable is broken, which probably explains why the
speedo doesn't go round. The light switch works, but the
lights don't, though there appears to be no bulb in the
back. Horn doesn't beep either. Comes accompanied
with original 'Patrol' legshield set and 'Midland' pannier bags
with pannier frames (attached). New drive belt fitted, both
chain sets re-furbished, and several operating cables replaced in
order to get the machine functional. Excellent candidate
for further restoration, or use as is to preserve 52 years
of natural charm. Very genuine machine, but must clear as
garage space needed - rare opportunity at just £250.

registered in 1969 shortly after importing began. Genuine

£200 and is transferrable although it would be a shame to
do this. The bike is MoT'd until June and is, of course,

I would like to
ask whether you would be willing to help with my unusual hobby; I
collect expired road tax discs. I began collecting in 1984
when I was eleven, and I now have over 100,000. My oldest
example dates back to 1922. Most people, when they renew
their disc, tend to do one of two things; they either throw the
old one away, or they slip the new one over the top of the old
one, resulting in a wad of them accumulating in the holder.
Rather than doing that, would you be kind enough to please send
any unwanted, expired discs my way? It does not matter to
me how old or how recent the discs are, even ones from this year
or last year would be most welcome additions to my
collection!

Bantam D7,
declared manf. 1959. Reg. in May 1996. 3 owners since
this date. This bike has been owned by me from Sept
2005. It has not been used for 2 years.
Originally the base D7 but has coil ign. added. The engine
has been rebuilt and the swinging arm rebushed since owned by
me. It is in very good condition and starts readily.
The sale also includes a Haynes manual, repro owners manual and

quality. Black with brown piping on collar and
